What is the Black BRAND Business Institute?

The Black BRAND Business Institute is a highly engaging and focused curriculum designed to address the needs of burgeoning and seasoned business owners while simultaneously providing a solution to build more business owners and restore family-hood among consumers and business owners alike.

“The institute is critical to keeping Black businesses on the cutting edge as well as efficient and above reproach. It will be both the starting point and the report card for businesses in our communities,” said Reneldo Randall, Black BRAND Executive Leadership member.

Our affiliation with the National Black Chamber of Commerce

Through our affiliation with the National Black Chamber of Commerce® we are dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining our communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the United States and via interaction with the Black Diaspora.

The NBCC reaches 100,000 Black owned businesses.  There are 2.6 million Black owned businesses in the United States.  Black businesses account for over $138 billion in revenue each year according to the US Bureau of Census.

Through our affiliation with the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) we are able to provide committed, visionary leadership and advocacy in the realization of economic empowerment. Through the creation of resources and initiatives, the USBC supports African American Chambers of Commerce and business organizations in their work of developing and growing Black enterprises.

Why the focus on group economics and community empowerment?

It is our goal to develop and sustain economic empowerment for our people so that they can improve themselves economically. This includes business and home ownership, employment and land development. We do this through community advocacy by creating programs and services, developing partnerships, and changing public policies, laws, and practices for the betterment of the Black community.

Our Resources
Definition: An economic or productive factor required to accomplish an activity, or as means to undertake an enterprise and achieve desired outcome. Three most basic resources are land, labor, and capital; other resources include energy, entrepreneurship, information, expertise, management, and time.
