We are excited to partner alongside your organization to bring about solutions that will improve economic conditions for the Hampton Roads community. Partnerships such as these create the kind of systemic change necessary to impact outcomes for future generations.
When we got underway with Black BRAND, we devised a bare bones strategic plan with pointed goals and objectives we hoped would move the needle for the most underserved, low- and moderate-income communities. Through our efforts over the past 4 years, we’ve learned how a movement like this would feel and our passions have led us to do more. A program piloted at Booker T. Washington can become an Entrepreneur Academy! A Business Accelerator and Mastermind Group can become a Neighborhood Business Hub!
In short, we are ready to scale. With a handful of programs that have made a major impact on a small group of people, we are confident that with increased resources, we will broaden our scope of influence and make a greater impact. As a result, more children will understand entrepreneurship as a viable career opportunity, adults will be supported in their business ventures and communities will access their school boards and city council members in a way that feels engaging and not alienating. For these reasons, we exist. A swift implementation of funding for these processes in Hampton Roads will expedite the implementation of our program in the next disenfranchised area, yielding better results.
We are in this for the long haul, and we are looking for strategic partners to help us.
When we prioritize community and economic development, everyone wins.
